Fine Wood Craft is under new management! Christa van der Westhuizen has taken over ownership and together with her husband Howard, make up the management team. They have retained the services of Nick Gericke (the immediate previous owner) as day-to-day production manager.

Fine Wood Craft has been supplying superior wood products to the trophy and award industry for more than 17 years, having been started by “Uncle” Peter in 1992. While their main focus is making trophy bases for industry, they have expanded their product range to include presentation cases for medals and coins, and high-end point of sale display items. They will however undertake any woodworking commission, and pride themselves in being able to produce items of the highest quality to client specifications, in any type of wood you may require.

Something that is possibly not very well known about Fine Wood Craft is that one of their specialities is Spray Painting wood which gives them the ability to make ordinary wood look like aluminium or stainless steel, and applying high-gloss “Chinese Laquer” to wood products.
